Paul Neiffer, CPA, has done just that in the agriculture business by creating and writing the well-known blog, Farm CPA Today. Paul grew up on a farm in central Washington, still owns a farm with his wife and has always enjoyed talking and working with farmers. In this episode of Accounting Marketing Doesn't Suck, Hugh Duffy talks with Paul about the impetus for starting the blog, how it led to more writing and speaking engagements and approximately $2 million in direct fees over the past five years. Still in charge of more than 500 clients, Paul shares how he divides his time serving clients (he's a fan of texting from the road) and marketing - and why he considers himself a millennial when it comes to technology.
