Social Media Marketing Is Not For Broadcasting

"Broadcast" marketing is very simply pushing out one message broadly and if the spaghetti sticks on the wall, then great. Unfortunately, when too many people push out the exact same message, then it starts to look unprofessional and diminishes your reputation.

In marketing, any medium or method that is overused will gradually erode and no longer become effective. We've seen this with telemarketing, fax marketing, direct mail, email marketing and now are seeing this with broadcast social media marketing.

To be fair, broadcast social media marketing is spam. Yes, I realize that broadcast social media marketing is cheaper but it's spam. Below are some recent examples of broadcast social media marketing (aka –spam). I have removed the accounting firm and don't know who the vendor is pushing out this spam.
